Dr.Ravindra has completed his M.B.B.S from Marathwada University (Aurangabad) He holds a Master’s Degree in General Surgery from Nagpur University.

Before founding Venkateshwar Hospital Latur, Dr. Ravindra has worked at the Department of Surgical Gastroenterology at KEM Hospital Mumbai under the guidance of Dr. Ravindra Bapat, Dr.Avinash Supe., Dr. Chetan Kantharia in Surgical Gastroenterology for almost two years. While working at KEM Hospital Mumbai, he has significantly developed strong expertise in Laparoscopic and Endoscopic Procedures.

He was awarded fellowship “FIAGES” in Laparoscopic Surgery by the prestigious and world largest body of Laparoscopic Surgeons Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons in the year 2008. He has vast experience in the treatment of patients with abdominal problems, laparoscopic surgery, general surgery, colorectal surgery, piles surgery and diagnostic endoscopy from 2008. He has a special interest in Laparoscopic surgery (cholecystectomy, Appendectomy, Hernia, Hysterectomy & tuboplasty) and minimal access proctology surgery. (Piles, fissure & fistula).

Presently, he is working as a consultant surgeon & Managing Director at Venkateshwar Hospital Latur. Additionally, is a Professor of surgery at MIMSR Medical College, Latur since the last 11 years (from 2nd august 2010 to date).

Previously, he worked as an assistant professor in DMIMS Medical college Wardha and Government Medical College Latur for one and two years respectively.

He is also working as a consultant laparoscopic surgeon at Shrimati Fulabai Bhausaheb Bansude Multispecialty Hospital, Alpha Super Specialty hospital, and Sadasukh Hospital Latur. His patients are spread all across Latur and the districts of Maharashtra. Dr. Ravindra also practices at Various Talukas in Latur District for almost 12 years.

Dr. Ravindra has operated on more than ten thousand patients including more than five thousand laparoscopic surgeries. He has participated in more than thirty National and International Conferences. Presented poster in IHPBA Conference held in Mumbai. Presented multiple papers in the MASICON state-level surgeons conference. Published 21 research papers in various national and international indexed journals.
